Responsibilities
- Conduct legislative research and analyze policy impacts for federal clients
- Monitor congressional hearings and committee markups for key developments
- Assist in drafting policy memos and stakeholder communications
- Support event coordination for policy forums and stakeholder meetings
- Track federal regulations and agency announcements
- Develop digital content for policy advocacy campaigns
- Build and maintain stakeholder contact databases
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in bachelor's or graduate program (political science, public policy, or related field)
- Strong writing and research abilities with attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of U.S. legislative process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be available for immediate hire (summer/fall start)
