Responsibilities
- Database Management: Assist in querying databases and extracting data using SQL to support ongoing research projects.
- Data Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and PowerBI to track KPIs and deliver actionable insights.
- Statistical Modeling: Perform basic statistical analysis and trend forecasting to support decision-making processes.
- Data Quality Assurance: Identify errors, inconsistencies, and redundancies in data sets and implement corrective measures.
- Market Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify market trends and competitive landscapes.
- Reporting: Prepare clear, concise weekly reports for the data science team.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SQL and basic knowledge of Python or R is highly preferred.
- Excel Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot data issues efficiently.
