Responsibilities
- Code Development: Assist the development team in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Project Support: Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, and implementation of new features.
- Testing & Debugging: Write unit tests and perform debugging tasks to ensure application stability and performance.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation, API specs, and internal wikis to ensure team alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Code Reviews: Review peer code submissions and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate technical requirements into user-centric features.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior status preferred).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Academic Standing: Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 and be eligible for college credit.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to work at least 20-25 hours per week, including some flexibility for evening meetings or late sprints.
