As our Lead Futurist, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to develop actionable frameworks for the 2026 technological horizon. You'll pioneer methodologies for trend analysis, scenario planning, and market disruption forecasting while building a world-class foresight practice.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic vision roadmap through quantitative trend analysis and qualitative foresight methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Establish industry-leading foresight frameworks and publish thought leadership on emerging disruption vectors
- Partner with product teams to integrate future trends into 24-month product roadmaps
- Build and manage a global network of futurist advisors and academic collaborators
- Present strategic futures briefings to board members and executive stakeholders
- Oversee development of AI-powered trend prediction systems and scenario simulation models
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into market-ready products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, AR/VR) with published thought leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience building and scaling foresight teams within Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools (Horizon scanning, Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Global network of futurist and academic connections
