Responsibilities
- Architect End-to-End Solutions: Design a robust, fault-tolerant IT infrastructure capable of supporting the massive scale and traffic demands of the 2026 Winter Olympics.
- Security & Compliance: Implement enterprise-grade cybersecurity measures and ensure full compliance with international data protection regulations and Olympic standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, security, and external vendors, to align technical roadmaps with strategic business goals.
- Cloud Migration Strategy: Lead the migration and optimization of workloads to AWS/Azure, ensuring cost-efficiency and high performance.
- Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive disaster recovery plans to guarantee business continuity during critical events.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within the technology or events industry.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, TOGAF, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
