Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain night shift IT infrastructure including servers and network systems
- Document technical processes and create troubleshooting guides for day teams
- Assist in software testing and quality assurance during off-peak hours
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system updates and deployments
- Respond to after-hours technical support tickets with SLA compliance
- Participate in cybersecurity monitoring and incident response protocols
- Contribute to automation scripts for operational efficiency improvements
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in accredited college/university program pursuing IT or related degree
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux) and virtualization
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail
- Excellent written communication for documentation and reporting
- Valid driver's license for potential on-site equipment retrieval
- Available to commit to 20-25 hours per week during academic term
