Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure projects using AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Write unit tests and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub Actions
- Debug and optimize application performance under senior engineer guidance
- Document technical specifications and create API documentation
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive interfaces
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React preferred)
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and database fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Available for 20-40 hours/week during summer (June-August) or fall (September-December) term
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
