Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts during night shift operations
- Assist with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tasks
- Document security incidents and incident response procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cybersecurity projects
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
- Update and maintain security documentation and knowledge bases
- Contribute to automation scripts for security monitoring workflows
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Available to work 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM) 3-4 nights per week
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Must be eligible for college credit through your institution
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
