Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network security systems during overnight operations
- Assist with server administration and cloud infrastructure deployments
- Document technical procedures and create troubleshooting guides
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system optimization projects
- Participate in 24/7 incident response rotations for critical systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security patches
- Support hardware/software installations and upgrades
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows server environments
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant coursework or certifications (CompTIA A+, Security+, etc.) preferred
- Available for summer or fall start date (June-September)
