This is a paid internship offering a unique opportunity to support critical infrastructure while working flexible evening hours. You will gain valuable insights into enterprise-level IT operations, network management, and technical support.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance, server health, and network traffic during night shift hours.
- Respond to and resolve technical support tickets and incidents escalated after hours.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of software applications and updates.
- Document system configurations, incidents, and resolutions in the internal knowledge base.
- Perform routine hardware troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with the on-call engineering team to address critical alerts.
- Conduct security audits and patch management tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Willingness and ability to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
