Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network security systems during night operations
- Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting on servers and workstations
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with day-shift teams on system updates and deployments
- Assist with cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and patch management
- Support end-user technical issues via remote assistance tools
- Participate in cross-departmental IT projects
- Contribute to automation scripts for routine system maintenance
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently during night hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred (not required)
