Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues for internal staff during the night shift.
- System Monitoring: Monitor server health, network performance, and security alerts to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
- Help Desk Management: Log, track, and resolve IT tickets using our ticketing system (Zendesk/ServiceNow) with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Asset Management: Assist in the inventory tracking and maintenance of hardware assets located in the Memphis facility.
- Security Compliance: Assist in enforcing security protocols and conducting nightly security audits of the network perimeter.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation and run nightly system reports.
Qualifications
- Enrollment: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Academic Standing: Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 required to qualify for college credit coordination.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems, basic networking concepts, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse teams.
