Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain company servers, networks, and systems during overnight shifts
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to remote employees via ticketing systems and chat platforms
- Execute scheduled system updates, patches, and security protocols
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with day-shift IT teams for seamless cross-coverage
- Assist in disaster recovery simulations and system backup verification
- Participate in ongoing training for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Availability to work 3-4 overnight shifts per week (11 PM - 7 AM)
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) a plus
