Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure during night shift hours
- Respond to IT help desk tickets for remote and on-site employees
- Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting for hardware/software issues
- Assist with cybersecurity protocols including vulnerability scanning
- Document incident reports and maintenance activities in ITSM systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades
- Participate in night shift rotation and on-call rotations as needed
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in IT, Computer Science, or related bachelor's program
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license (for Virginia location travel if required)
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred (not required)
