Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot IT systems and network infrastructure during night operations to ensure minimal downtime.
- Respond to incoming help desk tickets and technical support requests via chat and phone.
- Perform routine system checks, backups, and maintenance tasks to ensure data integrity.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and procedures in the internal knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to resolve complex issues and hand over critical tickets.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of software updates and security patches.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a night environment.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends as needed.
