Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for enterprise systems including Windows/Linux, network infrastructure, and cloud services
- Monitor and resolve system alerts during night shift hours using ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira)
- Collaborate with global IT teams on system maintenance, patch deployments, and security protocols
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles for internal use
- Assist with hardware deployment and asset management across 5 data center locations
- Participate in cross-departmental projects focusing on automation and efficiency improvements
- Complete 20 hours/week of remote training on cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related Bachelor's program (sophomore/junior standing preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and operating systems
- Experience with troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, ping, or traceroute
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently during off-hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and team collaboration
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification (or equivalent coursework)
- Availability to work 4-5 nights/week (11 PM - 7 AM) with flexible scheduling
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site equipment pickups
