Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Python/Node.js in a 24/7 production environment
- Optimize database queries and APIs to handle peak nightly traffic loads
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Collaborate globally with cross-functional teams across time zones
- Participate in agile sprints with daily standups and retrospectives
- Create technical documentation and API specifications
- Debug and resolve production issues with real-time monitoring tools
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java (Python preferred)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker)
- Experience with Git, REST APIs, and relational databases
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
