Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server/network infrastructure during night shift hours
- Assist with cloud platform deployments (AWS/Azure) and configuration management
- Support cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability scanning and incident response
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system optimization projects
- Document technical procedures and update knowledge base articles
- Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies and contribute to sprint reviews
- Perform routine system backups and disaster recovery testing
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows server administration
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Available for 3-4 months commitment starting Summer 2024 or Fall 2024
