Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Monitor server performance, network traffic, and system alerts during night shifts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshooting: Assist the IT team in diagnosing and resolving technical issues reported by night operations staff.
- Data Management: Perform data entry, backup verification, and system audits in our secure databases.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of system changes, incidents, and troubleshooting steps.
- Support: Provide technical support to warehouse and logistics staff regarding hardware and software inquiries.
- Project Assistance: Support ongoing summer/fall technical projects, including software testing and deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) to accommodate Summer/Fall start dates.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux), networking concepts, and database fundamentals.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and work independently.
