We are looking for ambitious students who are available to work during the night shift to ensure our clients' systems remain secure and operational 24/7.
Responsibilities
- Monitor server performance and system health during night shifts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Provide tier 1 technical support to internal staff and external clients via chat and phone.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues reported during off-hours.
- Perform routine security patches and software updates after business hours.
- Document technical tickets and create knowledge base articles for troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to hand over critical issues and status updates.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Availability to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) for the Summer/Fall semester.
- Strong understanding of basic computer hardware and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Current student ID or proof of enrollment required.
- Reliable transportation to the Baltimore, MD office.
