Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms during night shifts
- Conduct threat intelligence research and incident response documentationAssist with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security protocol improvements
- Participate in tabletop disaster recovery simulations
- Maintain security compliance documentation for federal contracts
- Shadow senior analysts on complex threat investigations
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Available for 3-4 night shifts per week (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic understanding of network protocols and security frameworks
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (must be U.S. citizen)
- Proficiency with Linux/Windows command line interfaces
- Excellent written communication skills for incident reporting
