Responsibilities
- Software Development: Collaborate with the engineering team to design, code, test, and deploy software applications using modern development methodologies.
- System Optimization: Analyze existing codebases to identify bottlenecks and propose performance improvements and refactoring strategies.
- Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specs, architecture diagrams, and user manuals.
- Data Analysis: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data to support business intelligence and decision-making processes.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Academic Status: Must be eligible for college credit (Junior or Senior status preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript) and experience with SQL databases.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be able to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) for the duration of the internship.
