Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of the warehouse and distribution center, including receiving, sorting, and staging merchandise.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and update digital inventory management systems in real-time.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) under the direct supervision of a certified operator.
- Ensure all workstations and aisles are kept clean, organized, and safe according to OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and quality assurance goals.
- Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing shipments for carrier pickup.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and resolve discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in High School, College, or University (Students Welcome).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with data entry software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Reliable transportation to the Columbus, NC facility.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow within the logistics sector.
