As an Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our infrastructure, ensuring system uptime, and assisting the senior engineering team with various technical projects. Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Assist in monitoring server performance and network health during night shift hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshooting: Collaborate with the support team to diagnose and resolve technical issues reported during off-peak hours.
- Development Support: Aid developers in testing new software releases and preparing environments for deployment.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of night shift activities and update technical documentation as needed.
- Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing system logs to identify trends, potential security threats, or optimization opportunities.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with the day-shift team to ensure seamless transitions and handovers.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating Night Shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Python; familiarity with SQL is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot common technical errors.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision during the night.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
