In this role, you will support our 24/7 technical infrastructure, ensuring seamless service delivery while enjoying the quiet, productive atmosphere of the night. You will work closely with senior engineers and support staff, gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Continuously monitor server health, network traffic, and application performance during night hours.
- Ticket Resolution: Assist the help desk team by triaging and resolving basic technical support tickets.
- Data Integrity: Perform regular data entry tasks, verify accuracy of records, and update internal databases.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive logs of night operations, incidents, and resolutions.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day shift team to hand over critical information and receive assignments.
- Security Protocols: Adhere to strict security and compliance guidelines during system maintenance windows.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a low-traffic environment.
- Schedule: Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot basic issues and think critically under pressure.
