Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software code for web and mobile applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in agile software development methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify optimization opportunities.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring software stability and performance.
- Write technical documentation, including API specs and user manuals, to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Engage in user research and feedback sessions to inform product development decisions.
- Assist in the deployment of applications to cloud environments using CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundation in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (React, Angular, or Node.js) is highly desirable.
- Understanding of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and version control tools (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the semester.
