Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
- Assist with hardware/software troubleshooting and system installations
- Document technical issues and maintain accurate service logs
- Collaborate with senior technicians on network security initiatives
- Conduct routine IT asset inventory and maintenance
- Participate in cross-departmental tech training sessions
- Support digital transformation projects under mentorship
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related program
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week during semester
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (not required)
- Valid driver's license for occasional site visits
