Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, coding, and testing of software applications under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Debug and resolve software defects to ensure smooth product functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to our projects.
- Contribute to technical documentation and technical specifications.
- Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or Go).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to our office in Portland, OR.
