Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-value SEO opportunities.
- Assist in optimizing on-page content, including meta tags, headers, and body copy, to improve search engine rankings.
- Monitor website analytics using Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track traffic and user behavior.
- Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly blog posts, articles, and landing pages.
- Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and fix issues related to site speed and crawlability.
- Manage and update local business listings to enhance our presence in the San Antonio market.
- Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns across social media and email platforms.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program (Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or related field).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
- Strong understanding of basic SEO principles and digital marketing concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
