Responsibilities
- Support network infrastructure monitoring and maintenance across 200+ workstations
- Assist with cybersecurity protocols, vulnerability assessments, and incident response
- Deploy and configure cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure) for departmental projects
- Document IT processes and create technical knowledge base articles
- Provide Tier 1 user support via ticketing system and remote assistance
- Collaborate with senior engineers on system optimization initiatives
- Participate in quarterly IT audits and compliance reviews
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) preferred
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification a plus
- Ability to commit to 20-25 hours/week during semester
