Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot internal systems and network infrastructure during the night shift.
- Respond to incoming technical support tickets and user inquiries with professionalism and speed.
- Perform routine backups, software updates, and security patches outside of peak hours.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and nightly system logs accurately in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure a seamless handover of ongoing projects.
- Assist in testing new software features and identifying bugs in a controlled environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all company security protocols.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Must be available to work the full night shift schedule (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and commit to the 12-week internship.
- Familiarity with basic computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or SQL is a plus but not required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold valid work authorization for the United States.
