Your Role:
As an SEO Intern, you will support the marketing team in executing data-driven strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. You will collaborate with senior strategists to analyze trends, optimize content, and improve overall site performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-value opportunities.
- Assist in on-page SEO optimization, including meta tags, headers, and image alt text.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Support technical SEO efforts, including site audits and schema markup implementation.
- Create and update content calendars in collaboration with the content team.
- Track campaign performance and prepare weekly progress reports.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in search engine optimization and digital marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
