Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable microservices using Python and AWS
- Participate in agile sprints with daily standups and retrospectives
- Write clean, testable code with comprehensive unit testing
- Collaborate with UX designers to implement responsive web interfaces
- Debug and optimize applications for performance and security
- Document technical specifications and contribute to team wikis
- Present project outcomes to stakeholders during sprint reviews
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science or related degree (Sophomore/Junior/Senior)
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote-hybrid environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Available 20-30 hours/week through December 2023
