Responsibilities
- System Analysis: Assist in analyzing existing software systems and design technical solutions for new feature requests.
- Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in the testing process to identify bugs, perform code reviews, and ensure software stability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specs, and user guides for internal stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers and designers to integrate new technologies.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues and propose innovative solutions to improve system performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or Java is highly preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and think critically under pressure.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time during the summer or part-time during the semester (20-30 hours/week).
- Tools: Basic understanding of version control systems (Git) and database concepts.
