Responsibilities
- Architect and implement hybrid quantum-classical AI frameworks for 2026-era applications
- Lead research teams in quantum machine learning algorithm development and optimization
- Collaborate with NASA, CERN, and DARPA partners on quantum-resistant cryptography solutions
- Develop quantum neural networks for autonomous drug discovery and materials science
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Future Tech Summits
- Secure $5M+ in federal grants for quantum-AI integration initiatives
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum-computing paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum machine learning applications
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and D-Wave quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of leading $2M+ R&D initiatives
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Q, Amazon Braket, Microsoft Azure Quantum)
- Clearance for DoD quantum research projects preferred
