Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in emerging fields including quantum AI, neural interfaces, and climate tech
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future technologies into product development pipelines
- Build and manage a world-class innovation lab with $50M+ annual R&D budget
- Represent company at global tech forums (Davos, CES, etc.) to establish thought leadership
- Mentor next-generation engineers through our Future Leaders program
- Drive patent portfolio expansion with 50+ new IP filings annually
Qualifications
- 15+ years experience in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Experience managing global R&D teams across 3+ continents
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Strong network of relationships with leading academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Published author or keynote speaker at major tech conferences
