Responsibilities
- Architect and execute quantum AI research roadmap aligned with 2026 technological milestones
- Lead cross-functional team of quantum physicists, ML engineers, and domain specialists
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for exponential speedup in computational tasks
- Secure and manage $10M+ research grants from government and private entities
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize quantum AI breakthroughs
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Mentor next generation quantum researchers through our Innovation Fellowship program
- Advise C-suite on quantum adoption strategies and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years leading quantum AI research teams at FAANG or national labs
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers in quantum machine learning
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction protocols
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Experience securing DARPA/NSF grants for quantum projects
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts to business stakeholders
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmaps
