Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-AI algorithms for computational acceleration
- Lead hardware-software co-design initiatives for quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on 2026 roadmap initiatives
- Develop error-correction frameworks for quantum neural networks
- Secure SBIR grants and DARPA partnerships
- Mentor postdoctoral fellows in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development using Qiskit/Cirq
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier ML conferences
- Proficiency in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion traps
- Expertise in reinforcement learning for quantum environments
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
