Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models leveraging Qiskit and TensorFlow Quantum
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI applications for healthcare diagnostics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles and ethical AI deployment
- Secure $2M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction techniques
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum frameworks (Qiskit, PennyLane, Cirq)
- Published work in Nature Quantum Information or equivalent peer-reviewed venue
- Experience with NISQ-era hardware constraints and noise mitigation strategies
- Strong background in high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU acceleration
