Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems leveraging superconducting and photonic qubit technologies
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit processors
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical machine learning pipelines
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for cryptography and material science applications
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through NSF and DoE grant proposals
- Mentor junior researchers through our Quantum Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies (patents preferred)
- Experience securing federal research grants or VC funding
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
