Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms with 99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Secure $20M+ in government and private grants
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubits
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published papers in quantum error correction
- Familiarity with cryogenic engineering principles
- Experience securing federal research grants
- Strong knowledge of tensor network simulations
- Leadership in open-source quantum projects
