Responsibilities
- Design and develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for real-world applications in finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Drive research in quantum error correction and noise mitigation strategies
- Develop quantum software development frameworks and SDKs for enterprise adoption
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and industry partners
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Demonstrated experience translating quantum concepts into commercial applications
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum)
