Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for error mitigation and fault tolerance
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Collaborate with research teams to translate quantum theory into practical implementations
- Document architecture blueprints and performance benchmarks for quantum systems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming and hardware optimization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in superconducting or ion-trap quantum hardware
- Publication record in quantum computing or peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with hybrid quantum-classical workflow optimization
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain government-level clearance
