Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms and error-correcting codes for fault-tolerant systems
- Architect scalable quantum processors with >1000 qubit capabilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Research breakthrough quantum materials and cryogenic integration techniques
- Secure patents and publish in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Partner with Fortune 100 clients on quantum adoption roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction (surface codes, LDPC)
- Published research in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Certification in IBM Quantum or Google Quantum AI programs
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped ions
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
