Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Lead implementation of quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Collaborate with material scientists to engineer qubit stability solutions
- Create quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and climate modeling
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in top journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or supercomputing design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or hardware optimization
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models to scalable implementations
