Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuits for cryptographic applications
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit connectivity optimization
- Create quantum-resistant encryption protocols for critical infrastructure
- Lead quantum algorithm development for machine learning applications
- Research quantum supremacy benchmarks and performance metrics
- Mentor junior quantum engineers on best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in cryptography and cybersecurity
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum assembly
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum processors
