Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms solving optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale systems
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies to implement quantum pilot programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in top quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and post-quantum solutions
