Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum circuits for cryptographic applications
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead prototyping of quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate architectures
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence effects in real-world systems
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum algorithm development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum cryptography or quantum error correction
- Expertise in NISQ-era algorithm design and optimization
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts to practical implementations
