Responsibilities
- Architect quantum-resistant cryptographic systems for enterprise-scale deployments
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms targeting 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, cryptographers, and software engineers
- Optimize quantum circuit designs for error correction and scalability
- Establish security protocols for quantum-encrypted data transmission
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum cybersecurity standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Cryptography, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum-resistant encryption
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum development frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or post-quantum cryptography
- Expertise in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
- Security clearance eligibility (TS/SCI preferred)
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
