Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Collaborate with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, Caltech) on quantum research
- Develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols for 2026 deployment
- Secure $1M+ in research grants and industry partnerships
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM, Amazon Braket, Azure)
- Strong track record of securing government/industry grants
- Proficiency in Python and quantum simulation frameworks
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
